Do Everything or Do Nothing Your time is your own here. Every Camp GetAway weekend is a little different, a final itinerary is provided upon arrival. Outdoor Activities - take a refreshing hike, compete in archery, splash in the pool under majestic pines, take a nature walk or relax to the sound of silence while you finish that novel. Spa Treatments - therapeutic massages, soothing facials, plus manicures and pedicures to pretty up those nails! Make appointments before you come to Camp, spaces are limited. Your registration packet has reservation forms. Arts and Crafts - who has time to do crafts at home? Each Camp is unique; in the past we've offered decorative gourds, sensual soapmaking, mosaic picture frames, candlemaking, "modge podge," photo tinting, tote bag decorating, holiday ornaments and more. Seminars - become an informed consumer and have fun, too. Each camp features a special seminar to teach such topics as relationships, health, photography, personal finance, starting a business, among others. Tie Dye - ya tied it, ya died it - hey, ya tried it! A favorite outdoor activity, vats are all ready and clotheslines hung. Learn secrets to perfect swirls and return home with a treasured memento. Yoga - never tried? Or, do you practice regularly? Our Yoga Pro will take you through a calming, spiritual beginner's class one morning and/or a more advanced fitness level the next. Friday Night Mixer/Minglers - meet fellow campers (we have clever ways!) and laugh 'til you cry. Meet the Camp GetAway staff and pamperers, win "valuable" raffle tickets, learn wacky NEW lyrics to familiar camp tunes. Fireside Fun - ah, a crackling fire. Whether the outdoor firepit or our awesome lodge fireplace, we've got things planned. We've done skits, games, sing-a-longs, just plain relaxing and of course... mmmmm S'mores! Cinematherapy - finally, time to yourself to watch chick flicks! Our movie house is open after other activities are over, so feel free to wear your PJs and put your feet up (nice pedicure!) Canoeing on the Lake - during summer months (between Memorial Day and Labor Day), we get those competitive juices flowing! Ready, set, GO and a first place certificate could adorn YOUR mantle. Raffle Tickets/Door Prizes - throughout the weekend you'll earn raffle tickets participating in spontaneous fun. Save them for the closing ceremonies on Sunday where the first item given away is a free Camp. We also raffle off various door prizes generously donated by fellow campers.
